  • In The Hurt Locker, during the ten minute long sniper sequence, in the middle of this unremitting and protracted battle, it cuts to a slow-motion shot of a spot-lit shell casing clattering on the ground, totally disrupting the editing patterns.
  • In The Road Warrior, there's two shots of sand pouring out of the tanker truck before Gibson sees it in the big reveal.
  • In Cloverfield, why did Beth have a spike sticking through her? Just get rid of the spike and that scene has the plausibility of scenario Matt Reeves worked his ass off for in the rest of the movie.
