What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before? ruined a summer

Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i never make new year's resolutions, because i usually figure out along the way what works, but those pretty leather notebooks at barnes and noble keep calling me. maybe i should try and fill one?

Did anyone close to you give birth? jamin and april!

Did anyone close to you die? one of my best friend's from highschool's father was murdered in iraq by a fellow soldier. i hadn't seen him in years, but i'll never forget him.

What countries did you visit? none this year, sadly.

What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? more road trips with friends

What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? oh gosh, so many. i have a notebook filled with dates. many in the spring, a lot from the summer, and fall and winter.

• Reoccurring: Being kidnapped, trying to escape. Same scenario every time. Details too horrific to describe. Except this one: I bit his fingers off once.

• Floating around in a restaurant that's an aquarium so all the wait staff are dolphins.
