It was about this time four years ago that I first decided to dedicate myself to albums. Before then it had just been singles, or individual songs that stole my notice - but all this was to change. I wanted to be the guy that listened to every song, that confidently told you that the second half lost it's way. I kept it up. This lead me to place four particular albums on pedestals.

  • Grizzly Bear's Veckatimest
  • LCD Soundsystem's This Is Happening
  • Diego Garcia's Laura
  • Godspeed You! Black Emperor's 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!

Despite still being in the youthful gallop of February, this year appears to have altered this purposeful trend in my listening. No albums have grabbed me, It's dull. Something has got to change. Singles?
