Just cause I love creating lists and do so for everything from what to pack (down to which pair of underwear) to to-do lists for work (or home, or life, or...). I'm a Sims2 junkie, an avid webbie, a fabulous speaker, and an enthusiastic traveler.

I blog, both of my travels and of my personal life, and I talk...about nothing in particular to no one in particular at no particular time.

  • Jimmy Buffett - I'm an avid Parrothead.
  • Wyclef Jean
  • Metallica - It always surprises people to hear that this is my favorite band of all-time; for some reason, most people think I'm way too preppy and top-40 to handle things like this (or heavy metal and hard rock in general).
  • Oldies - Everything from the 1950s forward. I know most "old" songs and especially love the Vietnam Era.
  • Rap and hip hop- I'm not much, any more, on gangster stuff, but something that gets me moving on a dance floor is always appreciated.

  • Shastakovitch - my current lovable kitty (otherwise known as Shasta, Shastafarian, Shastaburger, Doctor Meow, and a variety of other names).
  • Squidward - Shasta's twin brother who belongs to James. He is also commonly known as Squidwardian, Squid, and Agent Gray Nose (and currently is getting on my last nerve for playing in his water dish).
  • Clyde - "Stacy's" blue heeler that he brought to my parents' house in college (when he lived 3 hours away), dropped off, but still believes he can claim him as his own dog (keeping in mind that he was dropped off over a decade ago).
  • Rambo - our Australian shepard that drove my father insane by digging up his landscaping. He was bought to be a cattle dog but, as it turned out, was afraid of cows.
  • Pickledish - one of our beagles (named by...

As this will likely prove, I'm a junk foodie. If it's bad for you and considered a finger food, I've likely tried it.

  • POPCORN (seriously, I eat any and all flavors, although my current favorite is buttery garlic)
  • Southwestern egg rolls
  • Pretz (in the green or black boxes, preferably)
  • Toppo (just the general chocolate flavor rather than the specialties)
  • Vegetable "fries" (these fabulous little chip-esque "fries" made from various veggies)
  • Jalapeno cheetos (if you like spice, go for!)
  • Pizza rolls (blame James)
  • Cut veggies and ranch dip (from the little tubs from TJ Marzetti's or some such like that)
  • Wheat Things

  • College-bound English IV: it's because of you, Mrs. Campbell, that I write as I do. A "B" in your class guaranteed me an "A" in any collegiate English course with no revisions.
  • Honors Economics 100: this class, and the professor, brought about the change from physics to economics as my major.
  • Rural Sociology: growing up in a small town in Kentucky, I thought I could learn nothing else about the minds of rural America, but I was clearly wrong.
  • Karate I: this was perhaps one of the most energizing courses I've ever taken.
  • Business Ethics: it's sad that I took this as one of the final electives for my MBA, but it was the most liberating and life-altering class I have ever had the fortune to encounter. Because of this course, I turned down a promotion at a job where I knew the people had little-to-no mor...
