I'm an alligator, I'm a mama-papa coming for you
I'm the space invader, I'll be a rock 'n' rollin' bitch for you
Keep your mouth shut, you're squawking like a pink monkey bird
And I'm busting up my brains for the words

Keep your 'lectric eye on me babe
Put your ray gun to my head
Press your space face close to mine, love
Freak out in a moonage daydream oh yeah!

  • Michael Franti and Spearhead, opened by Blue King Brown (Forum Theatre, Melbourne, September 2006): Nothing like a barefooted socialist pacifist with funky hiphop/soul/reggae to get you going!
  • Bluesfest (Red Devil Park, Byron Bay, NSW, April 2007): Heaps of music! Blues, rock, funk, ska, reggae, hiphop, latin, rap, punk, irish, bluegrass, soul, country! Opened my eyes to a whole lot of new artists and sounds; as well as well-known artists that were fantastic to see live. The experience was more than just the music and the feel was fantastic-- bit of second hand marijuana?
