• Humor originated as a defense mechanism for me. Sometimes it still is.
• Writing helped me become an adult, and that is why I love it.
• Each character I write is some version of myself or an ideal I know I cannot achieve. (yes, especially the damaged ones)
• I often buy cereal because I am homesick.
• I try and avoid discussing what I REALLY think. I just try to conceive the best possible answer.
• But if I offer unsolicited advice or opinions, it's usually what I truly think/feel. These moments are rare.
• Painting my nails is my way of relaxing.
• Most days I'm not one to jump up and be excited to hear/read about others' good fortune.
