  • so i have a playlist called mengxiang (梦想) and it’s basically a huge medley of c-, k-, and j-pop (predominantly c/j). i started it in april 2022 and i let go of it for a while (it’s a super long playlist btw), but on march 11 idk i just. felt like listening to it again, so here i was, curating the song list

  • something more timeless? i started feeling very teary-eyed these last few days (it’s the 20th right now, 5:11pm). a few of the chinese children’s songs on there are from me crying at 2am remembering all the music i used to listen to, days before my math final for the quarter. i make really good life decisions

  • can you tell i started playing hsr (finally, after someone has been trying to convince me since april 2023)? and also i’m obsessed with the soundtrack (herta space station music is honestly the best and i’m not sure why... i feel the early-game nostalgia already despite playing for less than a month)
  • also, gira gira was recommended to me and i’m still obsessed with it. actually i first heard it in mid-late january, (they recommended it to me on a very specific day haha we were preparing for something,) and forgot about it for a month or so.. then listened to it again in mid-late february (teniwoha’s version, it’s SO GOOD) and fell in love with it

  • i’m feeling slightly abnormal about one of my friends and i don’t know how to deal with it, so i listen to songs that remind me of our silly situation and feel dramatic in my misery

  • i was pretty stressed because my grades were ahha.. something during this time. i also acutely remember my friend clicking on this and reading the description. luckily (by some stroke of fate) i ended up getting an A- not a B+ so i think i can keep the title of “straight-A” student for another few months.... (just you wait)
