  • the babadook- 8.5/10 (a good and refreshing take of the typical ghost movie, kid was way too smart tho ngl, also wasn’t too scary but i thought the ending was unique)

  • the autopsy of jane doe - 8.5/10 (i remember watching the first little bit of this movie when i was younger and being terrified but after rewatching it i think it was scary just cuz i was young lol, but it didn’t have some really cool plot points and was something different, ending was sad tho)
  • incarnate - 4.9/10 (the overall concept was cool but it was poorly executed, didn’t feel anything towards any of the characters, the ending was dumb and confusing, the demon voices and acting was rly bad)
  • the black phone - 8/10 (i think they accomplished what they were trying to, some of the acting was bad plus hate the deadbeat dad he sucks cock also why do the kids swear so much anyways wasn’t that bad)
  • the frighteners - 7/10 (y'know, for a 90s horror comedy, it actually wasn't too bad. The cgi wasn't awful either but the plot was meh)

  • the taking of deborah logan - 8.5 /10 (actually was pretty tense and had some pretty creepy visuals but it was also really sad just cuz alzheimers is sad so that distracted me from the scariness)
  • nope - 8/10 (wasn’t too bad actually, it wasn’t really scary but definitely tense and the concept itself is quite terrifying, but the ending was anticlimactic)

  • incident in a ghost land - 9.5/10 (oh my gosh, that was insane. i thoroughly enjoyed that and it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. definitely a must watch)
  • halloween ends - 5.5/10 (glad that the series is finally over but idk it kinda sucked like compared to the other halloweens)
  • skinamarink - 6.5/10 (was SO confused like 90% of the movie, but it was very liminal and creepy, i did have to look away a couple times, but it was just kind of eh, i did like it tho!)
