i love lists. i love checking things off of lists, especially. i like looking like i have a plan. also, i like turtles. and cats. and pigs. and most animals, even rats. the exception is the american opossum. yuck.

  • try some needlefelting!- done! so fun!
  • make some sock buddies- done!
  • turn old toy accessories into random crazy jewelry, possibly to sell on my sad etsy.
  • go wild with my new staple gun on some fabric and canvases, possibly to make a new earring rack...
  • do more fancy embroidery. not that i have ever learned a real embroidery stitch, but that's beside the point...
  • make some snarky book marks using patterns from the subversive stitches book
  • convert dad's khaki shorts to a fancy "everyday" kilt (we've been talking about me doing this for a while, but i saw a guy at maker faire with a kilt he had made from jeans. awesome!).
  • get some tartan fabric to make dad a "going out" kilt- done! one for the boy, too.

  • hang out with my crazy cats more
  • organize crafting supplies-done, sort of...put kitchen table in crafting area to give me more room.
  • figure if i want a new job or not- done. yes, oh hell yes.
  • lose some weight
  • start working out
  • find a shampoo that doesn't make my head itch but also make my hair look good- done. gotta use crappy dandruff shampoo, followed by conditioner and oil.
  • find new music

  • i like to have red hair, but i always forget to dye my eyebrows and it drives me crazy
  • every year i think i candy corn, but after a couple i realize i actually don't
  • i like to count the number of cats or cool birds i see on the walk to the bus stop- the number becomes an omen of how good my day will be (e.g. three cats, a woodpecker and a hawk, close up= the day will be fabulous; no cats and only grackles= the day will be awful)
